Dear Friends,
Why do I have The Lansing Blog?
I’ve found over the past few months that there’s lots of information out there about what’s happening in Lansing, but it’s scattered all over the web. It’s hard to get the full picture by going to just one source.
Throughout the day, I come across a myriad of items about Lansing people, events, other happenings, meetings, groups, weather, crime and other stuff that’s very shareable quickly through this blog. Much of it will be an aggregation of what’s already out there with a link to the source.
I welcome the hyper-local items about a new store, a restaurant or a neighborhood meeting. I’ve come across some pretty neat people and things happening in Lansing on the very local side of things. Let me know if you know of something you don’t see in this blog.

Wes, this is the first blog I’ve ever tried to use, so I will probably be able to tell you about the ease of using it, if that would be helpful. Right now, the problem I am having is trying to navigate around the site and the sound is off, but that may be my computer not the site. Barbara

I stumbled across your blog during some research I was doing. I thought you might be interested in my project I’ve been doing for about a year now. It is called City Saunter. The goal is to walk every street in Lansing, MI photographing anything of interest, patronizing small businesses and blogging about my adventures.
