The Family Dollar Store on South Waverly and Jolly Roads was just held up by an armed robber, according to an observer at the scene on the city’s southwest side who said that more than ten police vehicles from various jurisdictions were at the scene.
Police took employees out a back door and were searching the store to verify that the robber had left the premises.
