This is a good story by Laura MisJak and gets the reader beyond the yellow tape at a crime scene. It provides a look at the person who was killed and shows the damage to the family.
Do we need a similar look at the shooter once he’s captured? Who was the person who pulled the trigger? What was their thinking? Their background? Where did they get the gun? How many more perpetrators are out there with firearms?
