LANSING CRIME: Seven-year-old girl shot in eastside home invasion died today

A seven-year-old girl was shot last night in her home on the 100 block of Custer Avenue and is struggling for her life, according to the Lansing State Journal. Read this WLNS.com story about the incident which describes the suspects as all wearing red shirts and provides other details.

She was shot after three home invaders got in an altercation with an adult at the home near Sparrow Hospital.  Police are still looking for suspects.

UPDATE:  WILX.COM REPORTS THAT THE SEVEN-YEAR-OLD GIRL WHO WAS SHOT IN THE HEAD DIED EARLY THIS AFTERNOON.
