Do you think Lansing’s computer-based model for alternative education students will work?

The Lansing School District seems to be taking a big leap on faith on the futures of its alternative education students.

By a one-vote margin, it decided to take its alternative education students out of special classrooms with teachers and plunk them down in front of a computer for a several hours a day with the hope that they will learn more and be better motivated.
