City of Lansing’s electronic recycling collection was packed

by admin on May 1, 2010

Like most everybody else in Lansing, we had old electronic stuff that we had stopped using for various reasons and want to recycle it.  That’s why we jumped at the city’s offer to take these items today from 8 a.m. to noon.  I filled up the trunk on our old Malibu and went over to the city’s recycling transfer station on the near east side and we were surprised.

At 10:45 a.m., there had to be, at least 50 cars in line with only one person checking cars in to drop of their unwanted electronics.  We didn’t stay.  However, we still have our old stuff.  Anybody know of other events like this in the area?
