Greater Lansing-area is pulling together to get Google project

by Wes Thorp on March 22, 2010

Our part of mid-Michigan seems to have a fighting chance to get a Google project that would put us among the areas with the fastest internet service in the world.  What this means for the Greater Lansing-area is hard to overstate.

Here’s an example of the whole area playing team ball:  DeWitt Township just to the north of Lansing is considering and will likely pass a resolution asking Google to locate here.  Wow.  We are coming together as a region on this.

PLEASE NOTE: Here’s information with links about how you can show your individual support for the project in this area.  It also describes what Google would do if we are awarded the opportunity.
