I was extremely disappointed in opposition turnout, which until 7:45 was limited to myself and my boyfriend. We were being heckled constantly. We ended up leaving because of the hostility. There were no numbers to be safe with. Now I understand that the coffee party is not technically supposed to be the "anti tea party." But that is really what is needed, a visible anti tea party. I don't want to get together with a bunch of other like minded individuals and talk about my feelings. I want the people out there watching tv and undecided about the issues to see that it is okay to be one of us, that there are a lot of us too. I am really tired of democrat apathy.
