We have a local Ronald McDonald House where out-of-town families with sick kids in local hospitals can stay during hospital visits. And its volunteer organization is sponsoring a “Run for the House” event on Saturday, March 27 at Hawk Island Park to raise money.
It’s a 5K walk/run for individuals, teams, families and it sounds like a lot of fun. They have a Facebook page for the event and a website where the event and the facility are described in more detail.
