City of Lansing property tax bills will go down

by Wes Thorp on January 10, 2010

Check out this WILX.com story about the city of Lansing having lower property tax bills because of a quirk in state law.  With lower inflation and a lower cost-of-living comes lower property taxes.  When will we see the reduced bills?  Summer, right?  The lower bills mean as much as $3 million in reduced revenue for the city, according to the story.
