Fatal shootings accounted for nine of the city’s 11 homicides. The average age of the shooting victims was 22. The average age of the accused shooters: 24. Eight of the nine shooting victims were men. Six were black men.
The story also says: Since 2001, Lansing has averaged 10 homicides a year. The story lists in the margin each of the homicides for the past year.
Does anybody have stats or links to show how Lansing compares to other cities of the same size?
