Check my Lansing (MI) snapshots from today, Dec. 10, 2009

by Wes Thorp on December 10, 2009

I grabbed my little Olympus FE-190 as I left today to take my wife a Subway sandwich to where she was teaching a class in East Lansing just down the street from Michigan State University.

I took the camera to grab a few shots of our coldest and most snowy day of the winter season.  Outside, it’s a typical winter day in Michigan with a big dose of gray mingled with a dabbling of sunlight.

From the southwest side of Lansing by Waverly and Holmes I took a quick hop on I-496 which was very clear and easy to travel on.  I grabbed a couple of shots of the road from my Honda Civic and then moving east I got off at the 127 exit where I went to Kalamazoo Street where I grabbed a shot of our own make-to-order specialty cake store.

Then I got one at my destination, the Friendship House in East Lansing, a gathering spot for international students at MSU.
