Lansing Civic Players are looking to Fiddler On The Roof for their future

by Wes Thorp on March 1, 2009

The Lansing (MI) Civic Players are looking to its May production of Fiddler On The Roof for a financial rescue of the local theater group. But, according to the Lansing State Journal, it first needs $15,000 to help stage the production.

The group which has its costume shop and practice space in an old fire station on East Michigan Avenue has been struggling because of a dwindling number of patrons, but feels confident that production of the musical will fill seats and bring in needed revenue.

A schedule of upcoming productions is available at its website.
