Listen to Carol Wood talk about her candidacy to become Lansing mayor

by Wes Thorp on February 26, 2009

I was quite impressed with the Lansing City Pulse’s online audo version of its interview with Lansing City Council member Carol Wood about her candidacy to defeat incumbent Mayor Virg Bernero.

In the wide-ranging interview with Pulse publisher Berl Schwarz and columnist Kyle Melinn, Wood responds to questions.  She talks about charges that she is too negative for the city and that she running against Bernero, rather than touting what she can do.

The interview shows that she provides a choice for voters in this summer’s primary and this fall’s general election.  This online audio is a good place to become better acquainted with her and what she believes.
